Hello! My name is Eleanor. Thank you for visiting. I dream about making art that is like fresh fruit; elemental and nutritious. I dream about making art that functions like a tree in the park, making all the air surrounding it cleaner. When I think about earthworms, I think of humble, hungry creatures of the earth, below our feet, busy taking in their surroundings and leaving behind a trail of earth that is healthier and more fertile. This is my dream! I feel curious about almost everything and it is my biggest hope to follow curiosity, take in the world, and then create art that feels connective, refreshing, generous, and nourishing.
I currently live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I teach middle school art, make illustrated essays and poems, and work as a massage and Craniosacral therapist. I am also a morning walker, daydreamer, lover of dogs and soul satisfying conversation, plant appreciator, sun and earth worshipper, and forever life learner, grower, and lover.
